Katsucon 2013: more to come…

Wow, another year, another Katsucon! I’m remiss in updating the site, but I promise I’ll get everyone’s picture up that I promised, it’s just going to take me a couple of days (I think the pictures will be better when I’m conscious!) but here’s one from Sunday that I had to post, because it pretty much sums up this year’s Katsu:

Katsucon 2013: day 1 – so many cosplayers!

I want to show all of the pictures I took of all the fantastic cosplayers, but there are soooo many, and I am soooo tired…

Here are some, just to whet your appetite, I’ll be cleaning up and reorganizing these and all the others (ALL the others!) as soon as I catch up on sleep.

Enjoy!

Cosplay kids: Kaylee and Mal from “Firefly”

Well, now this is pretty darn adorable, Peter Verrant took pictures of these two cute kids, dressed as Kaylee Frye and Malcom Reynolds, from the series “Firefly” and the Firefly movie “Serenity“.  According to his Flickr account, he took the pictures at CONvergence 2011.  Whoever did their costumes even got the teddy bear on Kaylee’s coveralls right!   Awwww!

Coming soon: Katsucon report!

Just finished up an interesting weekend at Katsucon, one of the local anime conventions in the DC area.  Took a couple hundred pictures and dozens of short videos, and now I’m trying to sort through them all!  I’ll be posting a few pages of pictures in my “Things I Made” photography pages, and videos on my Youtube channel, but first: organization!
